M&M Custom Construction LLC is owned and operated by Shane Moeder, who started the company in 2011 after working more than 23 years in the industry. Years of hands-on experience in many of the trades like framing, trim carpentry and even plumbing, has driven Moeder to design homes with function, luxury, and budget in mind and to hold the building process itself to the highest standards expected by all those trusting M&M with their dream home projects.

M&M Custom Construction’s approach to new home construction continues to receive recognition by business leaders and industry professionals alike, most recently being named one of the Wichita Business Journal's 2023 Top Builders and Top General Contractors, and a 2024 Top Home Builder. In December 2024 and 2025, M&M received the 2024 and 2025 Best of Wichita Home Builder (Silver) Awards from The Wichita Eagle. Moeder received a Certificate of Recognition in appreciation for his outstanding service as a member of the Wichita Area Builder’s Association (WABA) Board of Directors in 2022. M&M was also recognized as a WABA Honor Builder for 2023, 2024, and 2025. Homes built by M&M are also repeatedly recognized with WABA’s Parade of Home awards. Kenzie, Marlee, Magnus 2, Ember, Brooks, Riverton, and JoJo floor plans have all won Pick of the Parade Awards over the years (some even multiple times), and many of our other floor plans have been recognized during Parade for specific areas, such as their Primary Bath & Suite.
